Say hello to Mrs. Daisy, our 2021 Newmar Ventana 4369 Class A motorhome, and our home on wheels! After our first season with a 2020 Newmar Kountry Star 3709, we realized we needed more room for full-time RV living. While the Kountry Star was our first RV purchase as a couple and a fantastic introduction to RV life, upgrading to Mrs. Daisy was an unexpected but exciting decision.
At 43′ 10″ long, with three spacious slide-outs and every amenity we could need, Mrs. Daisy offers all the comforts of home while we travel to new destinations.
She’s more than just an RV—she’s the key to our adventures and a constant reminder that life is best lived on the road!

What make/model is your RV?
We own a 2021 Newmar Ventana 4369 Class A motorhome. It’s a 43’ luxury diesel coach with three slide-outs and a thoughtful layout designed for full-time RV living. We love its spaciousness and the amazing features like a full-size bathroom with double sinks, four large closets, and an all-electric refrigerator.
Why did you name your RV ‘Mrs. Daisy’?
It’s a playful nod to Driving Miss Daisy, a classic movie that inspired the name for our elegant and classy motorhome. Plus, with Natalie’s love for Disney, “Mrs. Daisy” felt like the perfect fit!
What is it like driving the Ventana?
Driving the Ventana is surprisingly smooth and easy, thanks to the diesel engine and tag axle. We also use a Roadmaster tow system for added stability. The coach has a fantastic turning radius and a solid build, making long trips very manageable.
What kind of maintenance does your RV require?
Regular maintenance is key to keeping the RV in top shape. We handle basics like oil changes and tire pressure checks ourselves. For more comprehensive upkeep, we take it to National Indoor RV for annual services and maintenance.
How do you organize storage inside your RV?
The built-in pantry shelves are a game-changer! To avoid spills, we use baskets and liners in the drawers. For clothes, thin velvet hangers keep everything in place while on the road. These small adjustments make a big difference when maximizing space.
Where do you store your RV when not traveling?
We’re lucky to have two spots for storing Mrs. Daisy: our RV lot at the Las Vegas Motorcoach Resort and a warehouse storage facility in Oregon.
Do you tow a vehicle with your RV?
Yes, we tow a 2019 Ford F-150 Harley Davidson Edition. It’s perfect for off-road adventures and provides extra storage flexibility. Natalie dreams of towing her 2019 Tesla, but until Elon Musk figures out flat towing for EVs, the truck is our go-to.
What’s been your favorite trip with the Ventana?
Our favorite trip was an 8,450-mile cross-country adventure over four months. Highlights included exploring Texas Hill Country, relaxing on Florida’s Emerald Coast, and reconnecting with family in Arizona, North Carolina, Missouri, and Oregon. Yellowstone and Las Vegas are always special stops too!
Do you travel with pets?
No, we don’t travel with pets, though we enjoy meeting furry friends at RV parks along the way.
Have you made any upgrades to your RV?
While we love Mrs. Daisy, we wish she had features like heated floors, electric shades, and app-based controls for heating, cooling, and monitoring tank levels. Maybe one day!
